Victorian Police Leaders Mentor Program

As part of this year’s Vic Pol LMP Peter has teamed up with Rotary, North Melbourne Football Club and Basketball Victoria to deliver a careers and sports program for youth in Wyndham.  The aim of the project is to give participants an opportunity to gain part-time employment and affiliation with a local sporting club. The project’s theme is Social Cohesion.

Peter is Acting Inspector of the Wyndham Police Service Area, based at Werribee Police Station.  He joined the VPLMP in September 2016.

He has been a member of Vic Pol for 24 years with a broad experience in both country and metropolitan areas.  He has spent the majority of his time as a detective investigating illicit drug crime, armed robberies and other serious crimes.  Peter is married, a father of two and lives in the same area where he works. Although some see this as a negative he believes it is integral in his determination to make Wyndham a safe place to live.
