Creating Pathways - Activate Youth Through Rotary Engagement
Josephine Falzarano, now retired from her role as Senior Academic Business Analyst at RMIT University, finds enjoyment and purpose in her Rotary life. Joining the Rotary Club of Woodend in October 2012, she has held various roles at both club and district level. She served as President in 2016-17 and again in 2021-22, Assistant Governor from 2017 to mid-2021, and currently holds the position of District 9800 Youth Chair.
Prior to joining RMIT Josephine worked in the area of community development with a commitment to improving women’s and youth welfare, particularly within ethnic communities. She established development groups for women and youth at risk around regional Victoria, designed tertiary multicultural welfare courses, and represented rural perspectives on advisory boards, including the Education Board and Government Consultative Councils.
She is looking forward a continued relationship with District 9800 and the youth pathways journey.
