President Elias Lebbos: Club Forum
Now that we have commenced the 2021-22 Rotary year it’s a good time to discuss our plans in a bit more detail. At the last forum in May, we reflected on the amazing work that has been achieved under very challenging circumstances. At this forum we will discuss some important issues, for example:
The manner in which the Club Admin team adapted weekly meetings from face-to-face to a virtual platform, ensuring member participation and engagement was maintained throughout the pandemic. This will be an ongoing issue for the foreseeable future.
The fantastic fundraising efforts of the club, especially the dedication by Peter and Frank (and everyone else involved).
The need for membership growth and the challenges surrounding getting new members meaningfully involved in club roles and projects.
The challenge of regaining momentum in our ambitious service projects in all avenues of service.
The directors of the Avenues of Service will provide a 5-minute reflection on their committees’ plans for the current year and how these achievements contribute to our four Pillars - Progressive, Networked, Connected and a Catalyst for getting things done.
I encourage members to provide feedback to the planning for the 2021-22 Rotary year.
