Silk Miller Scholarship Update, Dec 2025 (Submitted by Doug Robertson)
Applications from serving Victoria Police members for our 2026 Silk Miller Scholarship have closed.  Interviews will be completed prior to Xmas with the intent to advise the successful applicant by then. It promises to be a competitive selection with some very well qualified and enthusiastic applicants.  As has already been advised, the Club has only been able to take on a 2026 Scholar following advice that we have been successful in obtaining a District Foundation Grant, for which we are very pleased and thankful.

Silk Miller Alumni Update:
Michael Beilkin our 2019 scholar will complete a Masters’ Degree in Adolescent Health and Wellbeing early in the new year. This follows his Graduate Diploma in Adolescent Health and Wellbeing supported by our Silk Miller Scholarship.  We will ensure Michael receives our congratulations on his achievement.

Sandy McIvor our 2006 Scholar and still serving as an Area Commander, has been elected President of the new Rotary Club - Balwyn Blue.  We wish Sandy well in this role and know she will be a capable and effective President.
