Our objective within Youth Service is to prepare our youth - all young people up to the age of 30 - for a world of challenges and opportunities.  By improving their life skills we hope to help them achieve a better future, while recognising the diversity of their individual needs. This year, the committee intends to support the following programs.

  • National Youth Science Forum

  • Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

  • Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN)

  • Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA)

  • Youth Suicide Awareness (Silk-Miller Scholarship)

  • International Student Hospitality

  • Supporting Indigenous Youth

For more information on the programs mentioned above click on the PROJECTS link in the left hand column.

The Youth Service Committee is committed to seeking fundraising opportunities to fund and sponsor youth in leadership and personal development and to help them increase their levels of resilience and self-esteem so they can build brighter futures.  The committee is also looking at sponsoring and supporting young achievers by mentoring and trying to source micro business grant opportunities for youth.

Club policy is that all members have current "Working with Children" checks.
