Announcements from Last Meeting
Neville John reminded members about our Bunnings Sausage Sizzles during February and requested additional volunteers for Collingwood on Saturday 14/2.
Roger Thornton reminded members about the Peninsula Family BBQ on Sunday 1st March and suggested that we should encourage our younger members to attend.
President Rohan provided the following key updates from the December Board meeting and subsequent decisions:
- We reviewed the results of Membership Survey and agreed for the Strategic Advisor Group to prepare actions to be discussed at the February Board meeting prior to sharing with members at our Club Meeting on Tuesday 3/3.
- We approved for Michelle Oliver-Rodrigues to transfer her membership from Rotary Berwick to RCM. Michelle will be inducted at our next Club meeting.
- We agreed to donate $500 to Australian Rotary Health and contribute $2,500 to the District 9800 project to ship medical goods to Cambodia.
- We approved for Sheldon Rodrigues to transfer his membership from Rotary Pakenham to RCM. Sheldon will be inducted at our next meeting.
- We approved for $4,000 to be donated to projects identified by Rotary Euroa and Rotary Shepparton South to support people impacted by the recent bushfire in the Longwood area. Thank you Rob Hines and Peter Duras AM for contacting people in the impacted areas.
