Plea to visit our Bearbrass Probus on Facebook
 
Tony Thomas begs members to go to our club-sponsored Bearbrass Probus and “Like” if not “Love” the funny and beautiful stuff there. Here’s why: Bearbrass is switching from web to Facebook as its key communicating and recruiting tool. The more “likes” we get the more the mysterious Facebook algorithms take notice of our club and push us towards potential members. With no “likes” or interest, the algorithms decide Bearbrass is just a dog.
The good news is that Bearbrass virus-wise is out of intensive care and stacking on members – our last committee meeting inducted six recruits, for example. We are now pushing towards 40 members, although this includes a number who are inactive till the lockdown ends.
