Lesley McCarthy: Environment and Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG) Oceania and District – what can Rotarians do?
With an even more urgent focus on climate and environment, Rotarians are able to take many actions to make a difference. ESRAG Oceania is here to assist with resources, connections and ideas.
This presentation will showcase some of the work already being done, the partnerships club can make and the hands-on projects you could undertake.
ESRAG Oceania has collected a number of resources, help guides and project ideas for every club. One of the latest is the Club Carbon Calculator where clubs can collect data on the energy and resources used at meetings and events, calculate the CO2 and then make a decision on how to offset that CO2. It is a great tool and is a simple way for clubs to make a difference.
