Janette Etherington: Interplast - repairing bodies and rebuilding lives

Interplast sends teams of volunteer plastic and reconstructive surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and allied health professionals to provide life-changing surgery and medical training in seventeen developing nations in the Asia-Pacific region. Work is undertaken in partnership with local organisations, including hospitals and universities.

Rotary co-founded Interplast in 1983. Rotary Clubs and Rotarians across Australia and New Zealand remain invaluable partners in Interplast’s mission to "repair bodies and rebuild lives".
