Peter and Sue Duras were recognized for their tremendous lifelong service to those in need at the Rotary Essendon Charter Night on Thursday 4/5.Presidents Vera Maljevic and Rohan Williams shared some of Peter's and Sue's extensive contributions over (almost) 50 years and both commented that there were many more examples of Service Above Self that they each could have shared.

Sue was also recognized for her contributions to Rotary and the wider community with a Paul Harris Fellow Double Sapphire.
Those present also heard District Governor Nominee Michael Lapina speak on his Rotary journey including his time with us and initial thoughts on Rotary Year 2024/25 and had the pleasure of hearing him sing "This is the Moment"
