Last week, we were supposed to have a playwright as our guest speaker, who would share how his writing skills successfully led to a turning point in his career. In September, we’ll hear from two more professionals about the importance of language skills in achieving personal goals.
Why three writers in one month? Starting this month, we’re aligning our speaker choices with the monthly Rotary themes as much as possible: September is ‘Education and Literacy’ month. This way, we cover all the Rotary focus areas in a structured manner while making inspired choices.
Of course, we’ll keep things flexible, making sure there’s plenty of room for club program-related topics and speakers. Sarah, Justine and Annet are reaching out to the club directors for this, but all suggestions are welcome and will definitely be considered!
