Continuing a long standing tradition of our club, members and friends of Rotary Central Melbourne generously donated 75 grocery hampers to our annual Christmas Hamper Appeal, which have been distributed to the following groups:
  1. homeless and youth through Steps Outreach Service

  2. refugee families through Lentara Uniting Asylum Seeker Project

With COVID-19 restrictions preventing our traditional Christmas Breakfast meeting at the RACV Club, Tom Callander, Alison Chan, Peter Duras, Gerard Hogan, Rebecca John and Adele le Roux stepped in to either collect grocery hampers from members or purchase groceries on members' behalves.

The hampers will provide some cheer to the recipients at the end of a very difficult year and demonstrate that there are people that they have never met who care for them.

Thank you Rotary Central Melbourne!
