Youth Service
Our objective within Youth Service is to prepare our youth - all young people up to the age of 30 - for a world of challenges and opportunities. By improving their life skills we hope to help them achieve a better future, while recognising the diversity of their individual needs. The committee supports the following programs.
-
National Youth Science Forum
-
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
-
Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN)
-
Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA)
-
Youth Suicide Awareness (Silk-Miller Scholarship)
-
The Bernie Gerlinger Hope for the Future Scholarship

The Youth Service Committee seeks fundraising opportunities to fund and sponsor youth in leadership and personal development and to help them increase their levels of resilience and self-esteem so they can build brighter futures.
Club policy is that all members have current "Working with Children" checks.
