We usually hold at least two working bees at 'DIK' annually. They are always very enjoyable, rewarding and an excellent opportunity for good fellowship with members and partners.
DIK, a Rotary organisation, is a major re-cycler and relies almost entirely on volunteer Rotarians, partners and friends. Most volunteers come from our District. The result of most of the work undertaken is product (both new and secondhand) is sorted and packed into containers bound for 3rd World countries. This all happens within a former huge woolstore leased by DIK and paid for by about 20 Rotary Clubs including ourselves.
